Earth Day was on April 22, 2009. Our class was a part of Earth Day activitites at our school. Earth Day is about cleaning up our planet. The goal is to save us from global warming before it is too late. Mr. S's Grade 5's and other Grade 5 classes cleaned up around a pond near our school.
We should recycle more often and put together a recycling program for cans and plastics at our school.
Finally, our class has created posters to convince other people to recycle more.

Great to see the Live Feedjit link - I would also suggest that you grab the Clustermap one as well with the Worldmap and the red dots, which increase the more visitors that you get, its a good visual and you can break it all down pretty well (your visitors by countries). Finally I would strongly recommend that you install Google Analytics. It will provide you with wonderful background data that you wouldn't otherwise have (graphs, visitors etc).
ReplyDeleteMaybe one more thing to consider is changing the comment variables. At the moment only people with a google account can comment, this is a bit restricting! I'd suggest you do the anyone can comment but they must have it approved by you (from settings)
Awesome to hear about the posters! Now what someone could do is taking a photograph of the posters, or scan them if they are A4,then you can either use bubbleshare (if its working) or slide (which you can click on from a site like melvilleroom8.blogspot.com), upload the photo's or scans and then you've got visual to go with the post! Fantastic to see that you've edited the commenting option so that anyone (not just google users) can leave a comment on this site!
