Our Public School, Room 110

Welcome to our Blog. We are a Grade 5 class, with 28 students. Our Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 5 school. There are 800 students and 49 Staff members. Our school has lots of great activities like the poster club, craft club, basketball , Primary and Junior Choirs, cross country running and track and field. We also have many jobs for our Grade 5 students called PALS jobs. We help out in the office, library, in lunch rooms, with younger students and with our recycling programs. We also have spirit days when we dress up in something or bring something to school. Another thing we have is Silver Birch Reading Program for our junior students.

Our sports are an important part of our school. Track and field is for Grades 3,4 and 5. We have a regional compitition at a local high school where we run short and long distance races and have some field events too. We also have a cross country running team. Lastly, our Basketball team is very good and has been a big part of our year.

Our school has lots to offer our students. This blog will document the last part of our year, experiencing everything our school has to offer.
